This basic compass is accurate enough for orienteering through terra incognita. Yet it costs only pennies, features four easy-to-read scales and fits in the palm of your hand.
Graduated 0 to 360 degrees (Azimuth) in 2 degree units, it has a liquid-filled capsule, declination correction scale, luminous points, and a magnifier in the base with 4x magnification. The acrylic base has scales in inches, cm, 1:25,000 and 1:50,000. Black bezel with easy-to-read print, base with red print, and lanyard.
Unusual for a tool in this price range, it has instructions written at a basic level.
